KathyAnn Murray is a certified speech-language pathologist who holds a New York State license and is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has 14 years experience with the last 12 years concentrated on the 0-3 year old population. KathyAnn currently provides services to children in Brooklyn and Queens, and also serves patients in Manhattan.
KathyAnn holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland.
KathyAnn is PROMPT trained and has extensive experience implementing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy, often used to treat children on the Autism Spectrum. Additionally, KathyAnn provides therapy strategies/techniques to address behavioral feeding difficulties for the toddler.
While providing services to the EI (Early Intervention) population, KathyAnn has had the opportunity to co-treat with a variety of disciplines including: occupational therapists, physical therapists, and special educators. Therefore, although her primary focus is your child’s speech and language skills, KathyAnn considers the “whole” child as part of her therapy routine.
